Double gold colored vinyl LP pressing. 20th Anniversary edition. Celebrate 20 years of Eyes Open, the landmark album from Snow Patrol, with this expanded Anniversary Edition featuring 36 tracks from one of the most successful UK rock releases of all time. This definitive collection brings together the original album and rare material from the era in one package. Originally released in 2006 and produced by Jacknife Lee, Eyes Open was the best-selling UK album of the year, selling over 1.5 million copies and achieving 8 Platinum certification in the UK and Ireland. It spawned six singles, including “Chasing Cars” – the most played song of the 21st century on UK radio and a BRIT and Grammy-nominated global hit. This special edition includes the original 11-track album alongside seven B-sides (including fan favorite “Warmer Climate”), the standalone single “Signal Fire” (featured in Spider-Man 3), plus rare live recordings from Berlin and Toronto, and intimate acoustic sessions from London’s Union Chapel. Remixes by Freelance Hellraiser and Minotaur Shock add fresh reinterpretations to this iconic release. The package features newly reimagined artwork by original designers Big Active, along with new sleeve notes from frontman Gary Lightbody, offering personal insight into the album’s creation and legacy.
